Activated Carbon is carbon impregnated with oxygen and intended for human consumption (in case of poisoning or for detoxification) and for skin care products. This oxygenation creates a super-porous surface, increasing the carbon’s ability to absorb matter and toxins. It is perhaps the most absorbent cosmetic ingredient with the ability to absorb thousands of times its weight.

This super-absorbency, as well as its antibacterial properties, makes activated charcoal an ideal ingredient for all skin types.

It is used in acne products to remove impurities, heal pimples, and prevent further acne breakouts, but also for all skin types as an anti-aging ingredient, as it tightens pores and smoothes the skin. It also reduces inflammation, which is important for the prevention of premature aging.

For us, it’s the soap of the city, as it can help you remove all the city pollutants that have accumulated on the skin. (if you often wear a white shirt, you can see it on your collar)

The soap’s packaging is made from fully recyclable paper and proudly bears the FSC symbol, which means it is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and meets the “gold standard” of ethical production. The paper is made from wood harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally sensitive and economically sustainable.
